TOP CABARET SHOWS/PERFORMERS 2005

By Stu Hamstra
Please note: The award are choices made from shows actually seen personally
in 2005 and are listed in each section in alphabetical order.
The
choices are based on several criteria, including originality, creativity,
song choices (where appropriate), delivery, vocal quality, writing
and in some cases even wardrobe. Most of all, the choices are made
on the basis of entertainment value.
Please
note that for several months in 2005 I was able to attend very few
shows due to a knee injury that made visits to cabaret and other events
difficult - especially in inclement weather. Thus there are probably
several performers who did not make the list this time who might otherwise
be included.
