Back Stage Magazine's Bistro and Cabaret Hotline Online's Jeff Matson Award recipient Singer/Songwriter D.C. Anderson (David Cameron Anderson) has been writing since 1995. He is primarily a lyricist, although he has provided music for a few recent songs. He writes with a number of friends/collaborators. His songs have primarily appeard on his own CD's (8 so far) - most released on the LML Music label as well as in revue format for short stints at the Duplex in New York City and Theatre Latte Da in Minneapolis.

Mare Wakefield in 'Performing Songwriter Magazine' called his songs, "Refreshing". Mark Davis in The Advocate' : "D.C. gives the genre a kick in the pants. Several of his songs sound like unearthed classics from the Great American Songbook". Christopher Byrne in the 'New City Times': "D.C. seems single-handedly capable of bringing back the classic Music Hall comic song with very contemporary settings...a finely honed sense of satire." Barbara and Scott Siegel wrote: "Anderson can break your heart as readily as he can break you up."
