for the run of the show. Events prested by members of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE will also be included in the MID-WEEK issue of the CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE NEWSLETTER.
The discount offered must be equal to or greater than any other
discount offer you make available to other persons, groups or organizations.

Maureen Taylor brings back her acclaimed new show TAYLOR MADE: BOB MERRILL to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440 for more performance in 2010: On Sunday, February 7th at 7:00 pm and Saturday, February 13th at 5:00 pm. TAYLOR MADE celebrates the "extraordinary" Bob Merrill who wrote songs from "How Much Is That Doggie In the Window" to "People". Bob Merrill's vast amount of work spans the simple to the sublime, with numerous chart hits, novelty songs, a Tony Award, and Golden Globe and Academy Award nominations. The show is directed by MAC Award winner Peter Napolitano, with musical direction by Matt Castle, and accompanied by Joe Brent on guitar, mandolin and violin. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum. $15 cover for members of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE.
 Nesha Ward brings back her cabaret show "I Am..." to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440 - ) for two more performances, on Sunday, February 7th at 4:00 pm and Monday, February 8th at 9:30 pm, prior to her joining the cast of The Color Purple National Tour for a year. Musical Director is William T. Hall and Lennie Watts directs. The show attempts to answer questions of self discovery. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum. $10 cover for members of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE.
 In her show "Screen Gems", Sarah Rice (the original Johanna in Sweeney Todd) sings songs chosen from film scores sung by or dedicated to stars and their movie roles in the films of old Hollywood at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATER (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909 - ). Performances are on Monday, February 8th at 7:00 pm; Friday, March 5th at 8:00 pm; Sunday, March 7th at 5:00 pm; Friday, April 2nd at 7:00 pm; Monday, April 26th at 7:00 pm; and Friday, April 30th at 8:00 pm. Jo Ann Yeoman serves as Director, with Seth Weinstein, Piano; Ritt Henn, Bass; and Bobby Sher, Drums. Starting with the silents: Rudolph Valentino (The Sheik), Theda Bara (the original vamp), the collection of stars runs through Helen Kane (the original boop-a-doop girl), Pola Negri (A Woman Commands), Doloris Del Rio (Revenge), Kathryn Grayson (The Singing Bandit), as well as Jeannette Mac Donald and a little Yma Sumac thrown in for good measure, and more. The show features the music of Nacio Herb Brown, Georges Auric, Moises Vivanco, Nino Rota, Jerome Kern, The Sherman Bros., Byron Gay, Ted Snyder and many others. Kathleen France brings back her acclaimed 2009 Debut Cabaret Show entitled "Book of Love" to the THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440 - ) on Thursday, February 11th, at 7:30 pm; Friday, March 7th at 7:00 pm; and Sunday, April 2nd 7:30 pm. The show explores the trials and tribulations of dating through song. An avid reader, Kathleen daydreams about her love life being like those in novels, only to find that real life doesn't quite measure up to the stories she reads on the train. Music includes selections from Queen, Billy Joel, Sheryl Crow, Dolly Parton, Sippie Wallace, and others from the Great American Songbook. Music Direction is by Tracy Stark and the show is directed by Lina Koutrakos. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum. $15 cover for members of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE.

Cabaret veteran Ricky Ritzel brings back his show "Hysterical Blondness" in 2010 to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440 - ) for one night only on Monday, February 22nd at 9:30 pm. Ritzel has been a fixture on the nightclub and cabaret scene in NYC for 30 years and has received a multitude of Cabaret awards, including 13 Manhattan Association of Clubs Awards in 8 different categories. He has performed all over the USA as well as London and Paris. An accomplished solo performer, Ricky has also accompanied such greats as Vivian Blaine, Ruth Warrick, Arthur Prysock, Varla Jean Merman, Julie Wilson, Lenora Nemetz and Miss Coco. With famed Chicago jazz vocalist Spider Saloff, Ricky created several award winning revues such as "1938", which was recorded on the Kopathetics label, "Porgy & Bess: a Cabaret Concert" and "Ira and Others".His performance as Jimmy Durante in "Schnozzola!" earned him critical raves and numerous awards. The show is written by Ricky Ritzel and Jim Luzar, and directed by Mr. Luzar. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum. $10 cover for members of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE.
SCOBAR ENTERTAINMENT presents "Tuesdays at Iridium" featuring Stacey Lynn Brass & The Barry Levitt Band at IRIDIUM JAZZ CLUB (1650 Broadway, NYC - 212-582-2121 - ) on Tuesday, February 9th with sets at 8:00 & 10:00 pm. Stacey Lynn Brass and Musical Director Barry Levitt have been collaborating and developing material for what promises to be a fresh and exciting evening of music ranging from jazz standards to contemporary favorites. Drawing from many musical styles, Brass’ sound is soulful and rich bringing together her musical theatre roots with jazz, soul and rock & roll. Members of the band include Morrie Louden on Bass, Brian Grice on Drums and Robbie Kirshoff on Guitar.
