Any show that offers a discount to CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE members will be listed on the special MEMBER DEALS page in the CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE website for the run of the show. The discount offered must be equal to or greater than any other discount offer you make available to other persons, groups or organizations.

To be eligible for a listing on the MEMBER DEALS page you must send in your flier, press release and/or other promotional materials clearly showing the discount offer. That information will be used as the basis for the website page notice, as well as for the newsletter listing. NYC: METROJAM WEEKLY OPEN MIC MOVES UPTOWN TO MAMA'S

METROJAM, the weekly cabaret/jazz open mic event hosted by Jenna Esposito, is movin' on up! Beginning on Tuesday, January 17th, MetroJam will now be held every first and third Tuesday of the month from 9:15 to 11:00 pm at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788). Jenna Esposito. The show will continue every Friday night. Accompaniment is provided by the MetroJam house band: John DiPinto on piano, Ritt Henn on bass, and Bobby Sher on drums. Sparkles and homemade cookies are provided for all attendees at every MetroJam. Open-mic performers have a chance to perform with a full jazz band. If you're planning to perform, please arrive early to sign up and be sure to bring two copies of your music (up-tempos are recommended!). NYC: BOB DIAMOND IN "THIS FUNNY WORLD"

Bob Diamond returns to DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788 - ) with his new show, "This Funny World", for two performances: Wednesday, February 8th at 7:00 pm and Sunday, February 19th at 6:00 pm. Gretchen Reinhagen directs. At the piano will be Musical Director, David Jarvis. "This Funny World" explores Bob's sojourn with his love of the movies, music, the Met and more, featuring the Great American songs of this ever spinning, funny, funny world. The show includes a significant amount of new material for Diamond, including the wonderful title song, written by the great team of Rogers and Hart. Bob Diamond spent many years as a TV Director, directing "The Joe Franklin Show", and many others. Additionally, he served as Director of Supernumeraries and Children at the Metropolitan Opera. What happens when TWO Josh's are mysteriously booked with the same show on the same night? You'll find out when THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) presents "JOSHING AROUND" starring Joshua Warr (MAC Award Nominee) & Joshua Desjardins (MAC Award lover) on Saturday, January 28th at 7:00 pm and Saturday, February 4th at 9:30 pm. Joshua Warr was most recently seen in Atlantic City in The Accused at the Tropicana. Warr was nominated for a 2010 MAC Award for Outstanding Male Debut for his work in SING NO EVIL. He is a graduate of the Maggie Flanigan Studio and earned a B.A. from Hobart and William Smith Colleges. Joshua Desjardins is New York City's favorite nerd! Originally from Boston, Joshua graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA. He then became the Executive Assistant for Cabaret Pittsburgh, through which he had the pleasure of meeting and working with musical theatre geniuses such as Elaine Stritch, Stephen Schwartz, Tom Wopat, Craig Carnelia, KT Sullivan, and more! Internationally known actor-singer Parker Scott present "Selecting Souvenirs - An Intimate Journey through the Great American Songbook" at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788 - ) on Friday, February 17th at 7:00 pm. Parker is joined by arranger/ pianist Wells Hanley. Selecting Souvenirs shares its title and some of its songs with Parker's recently released CD and also includes other favorites from the worlds of theater, movies and pop. Parker and Wells will explore the Great American Songbook. The show is directed by Bistro Award-winning and MAC-nominated director, Gerry Geddes. Parker's nightclub appearances include engagements at Danny's, Don't Tell Mama, The Duplex, Eighty-Eights, and guest appearances at Judy's and The Metropolitan Room. He was the lead male vocalist aboard The Silver Whisper and sailed to 38 countries, along the way also giving performances in Camogli, Italy and St. Petersburg, Russia. Parker appeared as John Denver in Bring Me John Denver at the Granbury Opera House in Texas, where he delighted audiences and critics in a concert of John Denver songs. Singer/songwriter/vocal coach Kenneth Gartman made his debut at the legendary DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788 ) with 5 appearances over 3 months in 2011, with his show "... not like the other cavemen". Now he returns on Saturday, February 4th at 4:30 pm. In his show, Gartman reveals aspects of his life and personality delivering songs that alternate between joyful and introspective with some gospel coloring thrown in for good measure ... after all, he did grow up in Texas. This humorous and sometimes poignant look at the challenges we face in life is directed by Shawn Moninger and music directed by Doyle Newmyer.
