Feinstein's
at the Regency Presents "Tony Danza Live" Opening June 12th

Join Mr. Danza as he
Celebrates his Fiftieth Birthday
Native
New Yorker actor and performer, Tony Danza will pull out all the stops
when he brings his variety show, a sizzling mix of standards and blues
with a dash of comedy and tap, to Manhattan's top nightclub FEINSTEIN'S
at the Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue, NYC - 212-339-4095 - http://www.feinsteinsattheregency.com/)
on Tuesday, June 12th at 8:30 pm with shows scheduled through Saturday,
June 30th.
"I can't believe that every
night for three weeks I will be celebrating my 50th birthday in the
premiere room in New York City - it's a dream come true!" stated Mr.
Danza. In true vaudeville style, "Tony Danza Live" will also feature
routines that showcase Mr. Danza's admiration for his "song and dance
man" idols - Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr. and Louis
Prima. Accompanying Mr. Danza will be Lenny La Croix on piano, John
Arbo on bass, David Shoup on guitar, and Cubby O'Brien on drums.
Having starred on some
of television's most beloved and long-running series including "Taxi,"
"Who's the Boss," "The Practice" and "Family Law" Tony Danza is indisputably
one of America's most popular performers. His portrayal of "Tommy
Silva," a charismatic and street smart attorney on David E. Kelley's
award-winning series "The Practice" earned him an Emmy nomination.
In 1995, Mr. Danza began performing his song and dance stage show
in major clubs across the country. Along with the National Symphony
Orchestra, Mr. Danza headlined the 1998 "A Capital Fourth," the national
Fourth of July concert broadcast live from the west lawn of the U.
S. Capitol on PBS. Mr. Danza made his theatrical debut in WRONG TURN
AT LUNGFISH and garnered an Outer Critic's Circle Award nomination;
his other Broadway credits are Arthur's Miller's acclaimed A VIEW
FROM THE BRIDGE and Eugene O'Neill's classic THE ICEMAN COMETH opposite
Kevin Spacey. Mr. Danza has starred in films for the silver screen
and television including "Angels in the Outfield, "She's Out of Control"
and "A Brooklyn State of Mind."
Feinstein's at the Regency
shares space with the 540 Park restaurant, New York's hottest "power
breakfast" room, and is transformed every evening into "The Nightclub
of New York." The sophisticated and intimate nightclub opened in October
1999 and was the inspiration of performer Michael Feinstein and Jonathan
Tisch, CEO of Loews Hotels. The club recalls the lush elegance of
a bygone time, boasting an eclectic mix of top-notch entertainers
including Barbara Cook, Rosemary Clooney, Glen Campbell, Ronan Tynan,
The John Pizzarelli Trio, Linda Eder, Cleo Laine & John Dankworth,
Dee Dee Bridgewater, Polly Bergen and Michael Feinstein.
Tony Danza will play the
following schedule: Tuesday through Saturday at 8:30 pm with a late
show on Friday and Saturday at 11:00 pm. Ticket prices and food &
beverage minimums are as follows: Tuesday through Saturday 8:30 pm
shows - $60 cover and $50 minimum; Friday and Saturday 11 pm late
