BADOMI DE CESARE RETURNS TO JUDY'S CHELSEA

AFTER SOLD-OUT ENGAGEMENTS
CHANTEUSE RETURNS FOR ONE SHOW ONLY OCTOBER 15TH
After
21 years of living abroad, in Bermuda, and holed up on lower Fifth
Avenue, singer Badomi De Cesare, who has been called a combination
of Marlene Dietrich, Anna Magnani and David Bowie, will return to
JJUDY'S CHELSEA (169 Eighth Avenue, NYC - 212-929-5410 - http://www.judyschelsea.com/)
for a requested additional show on Monday, October 15th at 8:30 pm.
This follows her recent sold-out engagement at Judy's Chelsea this
past September 24th and 25th, which was the first time she has appeared
in New York City for over 20 years. There will be a $10 Cover Charge
and a $10 food and drink minimum.
Ms. De Cesare will re-create
the exact act she left New York with in 1980, which she calls "Wanna
Fall in Love?" Pianist Harry Huff will accompany her. Badomi began
her career as part of the Charles Ludlum Theatre of the Ridiculous
troupe and then Jeff Weiss's El Coyote group. She conceived and starred
in a one-woman musical play called "Kiss Me, Kill Me." She played
outstanding engagements at The Ballroom and the West Bank Cafœ, then
was brought to Paris, where she appeared at the Palais DeGlace, and
later in Amsterdam at the famed De Ijbreker.
Songs that Badomi will
offer up in "Wanna Fall in Love?" will include "Two Cigarettes in
the Dark," "Deep Night," "Here Lies Love," "It Never Was You," "You
Don't Own Me," and "You Belong to Me," among many others. Her entire
act is available on her first CD: "Badomi De Cesare: Wanna Fall in
Love?"
