ARCI'S PLACE presents "CHRISTINE EBERSOLE:Live in New York" MONDAYS IN NOVEMBER and DECEMBER


ARCI'S PLACE (450 Park Avenue South, NYC - 212-532-4370 - http://www.arcisplace.com/) proudly presents Christine Ebersole in a special limited engagement. This year's Tony winner for Best Actress in a Musical will make her first cabaret appearance in New York in over 20 years.

Ms. Ebersole, who won the Tony” for her critically acclaimed portrayal of Dorothy Brock in the Tony Award-winning revival of "42nd Street," will perform Mondays, beginning November 5th and continue through December. "Christine Ebersole: Live in New York" is Christine's personal journey as a performer, wife and mother. Employing an eclectic array of musical styles, including ballads, jazz, pop, opera, torch and even country, Ms. Ebersole takes us on a musical odyssey through story and song. Scott Wittman directs and Ms. Ebersole will be accompanied by a trio led by her Musical Director Marc Shaiman on piano.

Christine Ebersole has enchanted audiences throughout her performing career, from the Broadway stage to numerous films, television series and specials, concert appearances and recordings. She began on the stage and has come full circle, bringing audiences to their feet nightly in her critically acclaimed star turn in Broadway's hottest musical revival "42nd Street," for which she won a 2001 Tony Award for her performance. Other Broadway credits include productions of "I Love My Wife," "On the 20th Century," the revival of "Oklahoma!" and "Camelot," opposite Richard Burton. She has appeared in many popular films including "Amadeus" and "Tootsie" and has had extensive work in television. She received an Emmy nomination for her portrayal of Maxie McDermottt on "One Life To Live." She has had starring roles in the CBS series "The Cavanaughs," "Rachel Gunn, R.N." and "Valerie" and she co-starred on the CBS comedy "Ink" opposite Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen. She has made guest-starring appearances in such series as "Ally McBeal" and "Will and Grace" and portrayed Tessie Tura in the television remake of "Gypsy" starring Bette Midler. During the past year, Christine was seen in New York in the critically-acclaimed all-star production of Gore Vidal's "The Best Man" and the Encores! Series production of "A Connecticut Yankee." Ms. Ebersole lives in New Jersey with her husband, their three children as well as three dogs and three cats.
