Skipper Seek Volunteers on behalf of MAC (Manhattan Association of
Cabarets & Clubs)
"The
Broadway Flea Market," which is held each September in Shubert Alley
(which runs mid-block off West 44th Street between Broadway & Eighth
Avenue, NYC), brings out the biggest and brightest stars from Broadway,
Off-Broadway, Dance and daytime television to greet fans and sell
memorabilia. Proceed from this event go to
BROADWAY CARES/EQUITY FIGHTS AIDS.
For
the past several years, Richard Skipper and others in the cabaret
community, have served as volunteers at a table offering cabaret related
memorabilia, CDs, videos, etc. Each year, the table has been one of
the top money making tables.This year Richard and MAC Board Member//vocalist
Audrey Lavine are heading the committee on behalf of MAC (Manhattan
Association of Cabarets & Clubs - http://www.macnyc.com/).
They are seeking volunteers to work at the table and/or any donations
or memorabilia that you may be able to able to contribute. Richard

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights
AIDS is the entertainment industry's most active and vital organization
addressing the challenges of AIDS. Since October, 1987, BC/EFA has
raised and distributed $50 million in the fight against AIDS by mobilizing
the expertise of the entertainment community.
