GAY & LESBIAN COMEDY RETURNS TO DON'T TELL MAMA - SATURDAYS THROUGH AUGUST 4th

Michael Conley's very popular "Gay & Lesbian Stand-Up & Musical Comedy Fest" returns to DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788 - http://www.donttellmama.com/) on Saturday, June 30th at 10:30 pm and then continues on Saturdays at the same tine through August 4th. Conley, who is a singer/songwriter and one of the most entertaining hosts in town, introduces each act with his own laid-back comedy songs and stories. This show has quickly become a popular post-theater destination for folks of all lifestyles.

The openly-gay stand-up and musical comedy performers featured each week have found a welcome place to "do their stuff" while never presenting that "we vs. them" theme usually found in this genre of entertainment.

Performers lined up for the first show of this 6-week run include Chuck Sweeney as Peggy Lee, Rick Skye as Liza Minnelli, 2001 OUT Musician Deian McBryde, Beth Sherman (who writes for THE ROSIE O'DONNELL SHOW & David Letterman), BACK STAGE Bistro & MAC award winning musical comic Sidney Myer, Christine Turner & Matt Cohen (from THE NEXT BIG BROADWAY MUSICAL), Lisa Kaplan (from GOTHAM COMEDY CLUB'S "Homo-Comicus"), Mark Davis (from COMEDY CENTRAL'S "Out There") and the unpredictable Craig Coursey (comedy monologist/dancer from DON'T TELL MAMA'S "Happy Hour").

Shows are at 10:30 pm on June 30th, July 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th, and August 4th at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788 - http://www.donttellmama.com/). Reservations are highly recommended, since this show sells our nearly every show.
