
GOLDRICH
AND HEISLER TO MAKE CHICAGO, LOS ANGELES, AND MARIN COUNTY CABARET
DEBUTS IN NOVEMBER 2001

Singer/Songwriters
Zina Goldrich and Marcy Heisler are taking their act on the road this
November. Their first stop is Chicago, where they will both participate
in the Chicago Humanities Festival and perform their own show. On
Saturday, November 3rd at 8:00 pm, they will be featured in "A Woman
Wrote That Song!," featuring the songs of Dorothy Fields, Kay Swift,
Billie Holiday and others. Participants include songwriters Francesca
Blumenthal, Michelle Brourman, Julie Gold, and Carol Hall. For more

On Sunday, November 4th,
at 5:00 pm, they will perform an hour of their songs at DAVENPORT'S
(1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830 - http://www.davenportspianobar.com/).
Next stop after Chicago
is Los Angeles, where they will be joined by vocalist Scott Coulter
for two shows at THE GARDENIA (7066 Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood,
CA - 323-467-7444), taking place at 9:00 pm on Wednesday, November
14th and Thursday November 15th.
Moving North, Zina, Marcy
and Scott join forces with Tony Award winner Kristen Chenoweth as
part of the Osher Marin JCC's Centerstage series. Performances are
scheduled for Saturday, November 17th at 8:00 pm and Sunday, November

Composer Zina Goldrich
and Lyricist Marcy Heisler are MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets
and Clubs) and Bistro Award winners in the categories of Outstanding
Special Material, Outstanding Songwriters, and Song of The Year. In
April 2000, they premiered their first professional theatrical production,
Adventures in Love at St. Paul's Ordway Music Theatre.
In 1998 they joined Off-Broadway's
Second Stage Theatre as Joseph Papp Artists-in-Residence. At Second
Stage, they presented an original revue entitled "This is Our Show,"
and are currently in collaboration with book writer Susan Kim on a
full length original musical, "Allison Under the Stars." They have
also co-authored "Dear Edwina," a family musical, which was read at
Berkshire Theatre Festival, and internationally licensed by Music
Theatre International.
Together and apart, Zina
and Marcy have provided original songs for CBS Television's "Murphy
Brown," Disney Interactive and Feature Animation projects, PBS, Nickelodeon
and others. They have performed their original songs together at Carnegie
Hall, The Kennedy Center Millennium Stage, and The Ford Center of
the Performing Arts, and are veterans of the Toyota Comedy Festival,
Marshall's Women in Comedy Festival, and Montreal's prestigious "Just
Pour Rire" Comedy Festival.
Their song "Taylor," sung
by Tony-award winning actress Kristin Chenoweth, received it's television
debut on The Rosie O'Donnell show, and is also featured on Christiane
Noll's latest CD. Their song "Alto's Lament," sung by Emily Skinner,
is featured on her latest "Duets" CD. They are members of the newly-formed
Musical Theatreworks Resident Artist Program, where they are currently
working on scoring a musical adaptation of Joan Rivers' "The Girl
Most Likely To ..." with book writers Doug Bernstein and Denis Markell
and directed by Lonny Price.
