The John Barrymore Room Makes Its Official Debut in September Presents Acts This Summer

Owners Dennis Cary and Van Pano of "The Red Blazer" and "The Hideaway Restaurant" on West 37th Street in Manhattan have decided to change their restaurant and entertainment from a big band and jazz venue to an elegant cabaret space as of September, 2001. In September, the club will also change its name to THE HIDEAWAY CABARET AND SUPPER CLUB (32 West 37th Street, NYC - 212-947-6428) and its main performance room to "The John Barrymore Room." While "The John Barrymore Room" is upstairs at The Hideaway Cabaret and Supper Club, as of June 2nd, the downstairs are has been named "The Red Blazer Piano Bar and Restaurant."
