Gary William Friedman, as well as songs by Carole King, James Taylor,
Toots Thielmans, Harold Arlen and others. She will be accompanied

Stevie Holland
grew up in Westchester County, New York, the daughter of a saxophone-playing
father and opera-singing mother. Her uncle was Fred Astaire's U.S.O.
Music Director. She studied music and theater at New York University.
Stevie recently starred as the "Angel" who inspires Leonardo da Vinci
to complete his famous mural in the new musical THE LAST SUPPER. The
show ran at St. Luke's Theater Parish last Spring and is slated for
an off-Broadway production in 2002. Stevie has performed in many cabaret
rooms and concert halls including Kaufman Concert Hall, Town Hall
and most recently Merkin Hall last November 29th. Her songs have been
featured in documentary films and performed at various ASCAP and BMI
songwriter showcases.
Gary William
Friedman's music has spanned the worlds of theatre, television and
film. A native of Brooklyn, Gary launched his successful career as
a composer with the Obie Award-winning, Tony nominated musical THE
ME NOBODY KNOWS, which spawned hit singles by The Fifth Dimension
("Light Sings") and The Staple Singers ("This World"). His orchestral,
ballet and liturgical works have been commissioned and performed throughout
the world. Gary will be doing the musical arrangements for the evening.
The musical
collaboration between Stevie and Gary evolved into a personal pairing
- the two were married October 1999.
