Sally Mayes has charm, beauty and talent which make her a favorite wherever she performs. A native Texan, she arrived in New York and quickly found success doing what she does best. Broadway credits include "Welcome to the Club," for which she received the Theatre World Award as well as an Outer Critics Circle nomination, and "She Loves Me," which earned her Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle nominations. Off-Broadway Sally was seen in the hit revue "Closer Then Ever" (Outer Critics Circle nomination), "Das Barbecu" and was most recently seen as Keely Stevens in "Pete 'n' Keely" (Drama Desk nomination - Outstanding Actress in a Musical). Ms. Mayes can be seen in the Al Pacino film "City Hall" and in the television version of the Broadway musical classic, "Bye Bye Birdie." Sally has starred in numerous regional productions in such shows as "Oklahoma!," "They're Playing Our Song," "Beehive," "I Am A Camera," "On The Town," "Kiss Me Kate," "The Unsinkable Molly Brown," to name a few. She can be heard on cast recordings including "Closer Than Ever," "She Loves Me," "Bye Bye Birdie," "Lost in Boston," "Unsung Musicals," and "Unsung Sondheim."

Sally has four solo albums: "The Dorothy Fields Songbook" (DRG), "Our Private World - The Comden and Green Songbook," "The Story Hour" (the last two on Fynsworth Alley) and "Boys and Girls Like You and Me" on the Bayview label (2001 MAC award nomination - Recording: Solo Female). Her rare and much anticipated nightclub appearances have garnered her rave reviews from New York to Los Angeles.
