2001 MAC Award Nominee PARKER SCOTT In EYES FOLLOW at DON'T TELL MAMA

2001 MAC Nominee, actor-singer PARKER SCOTT, brings his new show, EYES FOLLOW, to DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788 - http://www.donttellmama.com/) in September. After a preview performance on Sunday, September 23rd at 7:00 pm, the show will open on Thursday, September 27th at 8:00 pm, and continue on Sunday, September 30th at 7:00 pm.

The new show marks a return to theater and show tunes after his excursion into pop/rock last year in his highly successful, COMPANY OF STRANGERS show. This is also the title of Scott's acclaimed debut CD, which is available on-line and in major record stores

EYES FOLLOW presents a remarkable collection of songs by such classic Broadway composers as Harold Arlen, Jerome Kern, Stephen Sondheim and Richard Rodgers, and by newer theater writers like Frank Wildhorn, Jason Robert Brown, and Adam Guettel. Interspersed with these are a few select dramatic monologues and a rare Jimmy Webb tune, which gives the show its title. Gerry Geddes directs, and the musical director is the brilliant pianist/arranger, Dick Gallagher.

Parker's previous nightclub appearances include engagements at THE DUPLEX and EIGHTY EIGHT'S. His New York theatrical performances include Roy in "The Odd Couple" and Giles Ralston in "The Mousetrap;" in regional theater he has appeared as The Wolf and Cinderella's Prince in "Into The Woods," Magaldi in "Evita," Ralph Rackstraw in "HMS Pinafore" and Christopher Wren in "The Mousetrap."

In addition, Mr. Scott has sung with the Washington, Baltimore, and Wolf Trap Opera Companies and performed Monostatos in "The Magic Flute" at the Bay View Music Festival.
