CABARET CONFERENCE SET FOR SAN FRANCISCO IN NOVEMBER - APPLICATION DEADLINE EXTENDED


San Francisco, CA - Bay Area based RAINBOLT HAMPTON ARTS FOUNDATION will present the FIRST ANNUAL WEST COAST CABARET CONFERENCE in San Francisco, CA on November 16th, 17th, and 18th. This three-day learning intensive will be held in cabaret venues around San Francisco, and give singers the opportunity to delve into the art of cabaret performance with Master Teachers from around the country.

For three days, students will work intensely on act development, presentation, dialogue, getting inside a lyric, working with a pianist/arranger, and the business of cabaret. On Sunday, November 18th, students will be able to share the fruits of their labor with the public in a group concert at San Francisco's premier cabaret venue, THE PLUSH ROOM at the York Hotel (940 Sutter Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-885-2800 - http://www.plushroom.com/).

The Foundation has assembled a prestigious staff of instructors that include: Ellie Ellsworth, Faith Winthrop, Wesla Whitfield, Mike Greensill, Barry Lloyd, Lee Lessack, Donald Eldon Wescoat, Les Traub, and Michael Kerker. Participation is by audition only.
