of the Awards' Season Tuesday, May 29th through Saturday, June 9th,
2001
In celebration of the Spring
Awards' Season, ARCI'S PLACE (450 Park Avenue South, NYC - 212-532-4370

and r/j productions will present "A TONY CELEBRATION," featuring two-weeks
of performances by some of theatre's most honored stars. Beginning
Tuesday, May 29th (8:30 pm) and continuing through Saturday, June
9th, 2001, this salute to "Tony Talent" will feature the following
winners and nominees each performing their own show: Donna McKechnie,
Priscilla Lopez, Tovah Feldshuh, Ann Hampton Callaway, Liz Callaway,
Pamela Myers, Allison Fraser, Keith Herrmann, Lillias White, Sally
Mayes, Sharon McNight, Debbie Gravitte and Tsidii LeLoka. Produced
with the cooperation and participation of The Actors' Fund, a portion
of the proceeds of this two-week celebration will benefit the not-for-profit
organization. On Sunday, June 3rd, Arci's Place favorite Jim Caruso
will host The Actors' Fund New York Tony Benefit Party.
On Tuesday, May 29th (8:30
pm) Donna McKechnie, a Tony Award-winner for her role in "A Chorus
Line," will start the festivities with some of the songs she has performed
on the Broadway stage. Another "Chorus Line" Tony nominee, Priscilla
Lopez, Tony Award-winner for "A Day In Hollywood," performs her new
show "What I Did For Love" Wednesday, May 30th (8:30 pm). Tovah Feldshuh,
Tony-nominated for "Sarava," "Yentl" and "Lend Me A Tenor," will star
in her new show "Tovah: Still Out Of Her Mind," a sequel to her acclaimed
off-Broadway hit on Thursday, May 31st (8:30 pm). Talented sisters
Ann Hampton Callaway, Tony-nominated for "Swing," and Liz Callaway,
Tony-nominated for "Baby," will perform their acclaimed show "Sibling
Revelry" on Friday, June 1st and Saturday, June 2nd (8:30 pm and 11:00
pm).
On Sunday, June 3rd, Arci's
Place will host the official Actors' Fund New York Tony Party at which
guests will view the broadcast of the Tony Awards. Guests will join
Host Jim Caruso, Musical Director Barry Levitt and other Broadway
stars to view the Awards show on large television monitors. The festivities
will include a four-course pre-fixe dinner, and reservations are a
must.
On Tuesday, June 5th (8:30
pm) the second week of "A TONY CELEBRATION" begins with Pamela Myers,
Tony-nominated for "Company," making a rare New York appearance. Allison
Fraser, Tony-nominated for "Secret Garden" and "Romance, Romance,"
will be joined by the Tony-nominated composer of "Romance, Romance,"
Keith Herrmann, Wednesday, June 6th (8:30 pm). Lillias White, Tony
Award-winner for "The Life," will perform Thursday, June 7th (8:30
pm) followed by Sally Mayes, who was nominated for "She Loves Me,"
in her show "Decade" at 11:00 pm. On Friday, June 8th (8:30 pm) Sharon
McNight, who was nominated for "Starmites," performs, and Saturday,
June 9th (8:30 pm) Debbie Gravitte, Tony Award-winner for "Jerome
Robbins Broadway," performs in her new show "Debbie Gravitte Live."
At 11:00 pm on both Friday, June 8th and Saturday, June 9th, Tsidii
LeLoka, who was Tony-nominated for her role in "The Lion King," will
bring her powerful voice to Arci's Place.
The Actors' Fund of America,
founded in 1882, is the national, nonprofit human services organization
helping all entertainment professionals in theatre, television, film,
radio, music, opera and dance, as well as theatre. Their broad spectrum
of programs - designed to address the needs of our community - include
comprehensive social services, health care services, employment and

$15.00 food/drink minimum for performances during "A TONY CELEBRATION."
The special Actors' Fund New York Tony Benefit Party on June 3rd,
2001 is $100 and includes a pre-fixe dinner.
