At The Movies - Fully Animated at Scullers In March

Will McMillan, Brian Patton, Michael Ricca and Nina Vansuch return to SCULLERS JAZZ CLUB (400 Soldiers Field Road, Allston, MA - 617-562-4111 - http://www.scullersjazz.com/) on Wednesday, March 27th at 8:00 pm with a brand new show, "Fully Animated," featuring music from animated films and TV shows -including "The Aristocats," "Yellow Submarine" and "South Park." Brian, Nina, Michael and Will promise to bring a new spin to songs by Randy Newman, Peggy Lee, Lennon & McCartney and more.

Their first show, a revue of music from the 1950's and '60s, charmed audiences in Boston, Provincetown and New York City. In 2000 their show was nominated for an IRNE Award by the Independent Reviewers of New England.

In 1999 Will McMillan, Brian Patton Michael Ricca, and Nina Vansuch created "At The Movies," a revue of songs celebrating the movies of the '50s and '60s, which they performed from Boston to Provincetown to New York City.

Will McMillan is a singer, songwriter and cabaret promoter who performs in "At the Movies" and hosts "Will & Company," a series highlighting local songwriters. He is also PR Director at the CAMBRIDGE CENTER FOR ADULT EDUCATION (56 Brattle Street, Cambridge, MA - 617-547-6789 - Ext. 1 - http://www.ccae.org/), and watches over the Cabaret Connection there. In March he debuts an all Irving Berlin show at CCAE, and is busy recording a CD of music-all by local songwriters.

Brian Patton has performed in cabarets and theaters in NYC and throughout New England. He toured Korea and Japan as Dick in "Dames at Sea," and opened for Dave Brubeck with his vocal group "16th and Savoy." Brian works as musical director and accompanist with singers and choral groups from Boston to NYC. He is currently recording a CD with his longtime musical partner Mary Callanan.

Michael Ricca is a well-known figure on Boston stages, having performed in productions ranging from "Chess" to "Balm in Gilead." His NY theater credits include "Dark of the Moon," "Journey of the Fifth Horse" and "Paradise Lost." His solo cabaret show, "A Boy Like That ..." played to packed houses at CCAE's Cabaret Connection.

Nina Vansuch is a writer and singer who returned to the stage in 1996 with her one-woman extravaganza, "Where Have I Been All Your Life?" Her performance of this and other shows led to her attendance at the 1999 Eugene O'Neil Cabaret Symposium. Nina is currently working on a cabaret show, "Judy, Judy, Judy." She is the recipient of several grant awards, most recently to develop her play, "Miss Me."
