Rhonda Ayers Returns To Don't Tell Mama With Two Shows


MAC Award Nominee (Outstanding NY Debut) and Cabaret Hotline Online Award Winner (Female Musical Comedy - 2001) Rhonda Ayers returns to DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788 - http://www.donttellmama.com/) with her new show, "One Foot in the Grave" which will be performed in repertory with the critically acclaimed "Deer in the Headlights" for four nights in July. Her musical director is Fran Minarik. There is a $10 Cover Charge, 2-drink minimum.

Rhonda in Repertory "One Foot in the Grave" & "Deer in the Headlights" will play the following schedule:

Monday July 1st @ 7:00 pm: "One Foot in the Grave"
Monday July 15th @ 7:00 pm "Deer in the Headlights"
Monday July 29th @ 7:00 pm: "One Foot in the Grave"
Monday August 5th @ 7:00 pm: "Deer in the Headlights"

Blending music and comedy, "One Foot in the Grave" details Ms. Ayers' early (?) mid-life crisis and the ways one looks to improve and remake one's life while expending the least possible effort. "One Foot in the Grave" was chosen as a Cabaret Hotline Online Award Winner for 2001 (Female Musical Comedy). "Deer In the Headlights" explores our fears, both rational and irrational. Ms. Ayers was a MAC Award Nominee (Outstanding Debut) for her first show, "Help Me, Rhonda."

Ms. Ayers graduated from the William Esper Studio and The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She most recently appeared on NBC's "Law & Order." She has performed at Alice Tully Hall and toured for the USO, where she ran afoul of the Secret Service for getting too close to Barbara Bush while searching for the ladies room.
