CHANTEUSE BADOMI DE CESARE RETURNS TO NEW YORK CLUB SCENE

APPEARING AT JUDY'S CHELSEA FOUR SHOWS ONLY FEBRUARY 21st, 28th AND MARCH 4th, 11th

Singer Badomi De Cesare will return to JUDY'S CHELSEA (169 Eighth Avenue, NYC - 212-929-5410 - http://www.judyschelsea.com/) for four shows only: Thursdays, February 21st & 28th and Mondays, March 4th & 11th, at 8:30 pm nightly. Pianist Harry Huff will be her accompanist for an evening that she calls "Wanna Fall in Love?" There will be a $10 Cover Charge and a $10 food and drink minimum.

Badomi began her career as part of the Charles Ludlum Ridiculous Theatrical Company and then Jeff Weiss's El Coyote group. She conceived and starred in a one-woman musical play, "Kiss Me, Kill Me," for Dance Theatre Workshop. She played outstanding engagements at The Ballroom and the West Bank Cafœ, then was brought to Paris, where she appeared at the Palais DeGlace, and later in Amsterdam at the famed De Ijbreker.

She met an international financier in Paris, they fell in love, and she left show business for him. They lived in Paris, Switzerland, Ireland, London, Budapest and finally Bermuda. But when the love of her life passed away, after eleven years of marriage, she decided to return to the place that has always been her first love, New York, and its clubs. She has been asked back to Judy's Chelsea after two very successful engagements there last fall.

Songs that Badomi will offer up in "Wanna Fall in Love?" will include "Two Cigarettes in the Dark," "Deep Night," "Here Lies Love," "It Never Was You," "You Don't Own Me," and "You Belong to Me," among many others. The entire evening has been recorded on a CD called, appropriately, "Wanna Fall in Love?"

Harry Huff has enjoyed a unique career as a keyboard artist for such performers as Jessye Norman, Eleanor Steber, Judy Collins, Martha Schlamme, Art Garfunkel, Al Hirt and, most recently, Tom Bogdan at The Club at La Mama.
