ARCI'S PLACE PRESENTS BROADWAY AND WEST END STAGE AND TELEVISION STAR JOHN BARROWMAN


"REFLECTIONS FROM BROADWAY" FEBRUARY 20th through MARCH 2nd - New York Cabaret Debut!

John Miller and ARCI'S PLACE (450 Park Avenue South, NYC - 212-532-4370 - http://www.arcisplace.com/) are pleased to present the New York cabaret debut engagement of handsome leading man John Barrowman (Putting it Together, Sunset Boulevard, CBS's Central Park West). "Reflections from Broadway" will begin performances on Wednesday, February 20th with performances through Saturday, March 2nd. Shows are at 8:00 pm Wednesday through Friday and at 8:30 and 11:00 pm on Saturdays. His program will include songs by Stephen Sondheim, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Cole Porter, as well as contemporary pop favorites.

The show is written by Bruce Vilanch and directed by Barry Kleinbort. Musical Director Jerry Sternbach will accompany Mr. Barrowman on piano. Tickets to the show are $30 with a $15 food/drink minimum. Reservations are strongly suggested.

John just returned from Europe where he has completed his first feature film, MEGALODON to be released in the fall of 2002. He was most recently seen as Peter Williams in the television series TITANS for NBC and Aaron Spelling Productions. Television audiences will recognize him from his starring role in Darren Star's CENTRAL PARK WEST for CBS.

On stage, John starred opposite Carol Burnett on Broadway in the Stephen Sondheim celebration PUTTING IT TOGETHER. He played Joe Gillis opposite Betty Buckley in SUNSET BOULEVARD both on Broadway and in London. John received an Olivier Award nomination for Best Actor in a Musical in Sam Mendes' premiere production of THE FIX at the Donmar Warehouse. His other credits include Che in a spectacular production of EVITA at the 6,000 seat Spektrum Arena in Oslo, the Irish production of ASPECTS OF LOVE, Chris in MISS SAIGON, Raoul in PHANTOM OF THE OPERA at Her Majesty's Theater, and Billy in ANYTHING GOES opposite Elaine Paige at the Prince Edward Theatre. He starred as Claude in the 35th Anniversary London revival of HAIR at the Old Vic Theatre and in the musical MATADOR opposite Stephanie Powers at the Queen's Theatre.

John can be heard on original cast recordings of THE FIX for First Night Records, as Danny Zuko in GREASE for TER, HAIR for EMI, and the all-star cast album of GODSPELL. His solo albums include: THE MUSIC OF ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER, JOHN BARROWMAN: ASPECTS OF LLOYD WEBBER and JOHN BARROWMAN: REFLECTIONS FROM BROADWAY.

John has given numerous concert performances around the world including several Royal Command Performances. He has performed on the BBC in THE MAGIC OF MUSICALS from the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall (with Claire Moore), in a concert version of CALL ME MADAM with Tyne Daly and opposite Betty Buckley on NATIONAL MUSIC DAY.
