Nanci Gaye Bradshaw debuts "Real Live Woman"

Nanci Gaye Bradshaw has joined forces with musical director John Fischer, creative director Carolyn Montgomery and bass player Paul Aston to create a cabaret show. "Real Live Woman" is the name of the show, and Nanci sings of the genuine joys and challenges that a working actress and singer faces in this new millennium. Upcoming performances at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788 - http://www.donttellmama.com/) are scheduled for Tuesdays, March 12th and 19th at 7:00 pm.

A native of San Francisco, Nanci Gaye Bradshaw has played THE PLUSH ROOM at the York Hotel (940 Sutter Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-885-2800 - http://www.plushroom.com/), as well as BIG MAMA'S and JOSIE'S JUICE JOINT. She is a long-standing member of Actor's Equity, and has performed leading roles with regional theater companies across the country.

The concept for "Real Live Woman" developed naturally from Nanci's unique professional and personal experiences in Manhattan and San Francisco. The show highlights what we read, hear and see in advertising contrasted with who we really are. It also points out the simple joys of the human experience: the love of a child, a meal in a great restaurant, a walk by the ocean ... the experiences that make us feel good to be alive. The songs of Maltby and Shire, Billy Joel, Harold Arlen, Carole King, Paul Trenet, and Jerome Kern (to name a few) come together to form an entertaining and inspired hour of music and comedy.

Nanci was a fellow of the Cabaret Symposium at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center. She is a performer! She's an office temp. She's a real live woman.
