Eric Comstock Performs at Stoneham Theatre

Urbane Saloon Singer and Creator of "Our Sinatra," to Perform August 10th

Eric Comstock will perform his highly acclaimed cabaret show at STONEHAM THEATRE (395 Main Street, Stoneham, MA - 781-279-2200 - http://www.stonehamtheatre.org/) on Saturday, August 10th, at 8:00 pm. Tickets are $25 ($21 students/seniors).

Known for his deep catalog of songs from the Great American Songbook, Comstock is one of New York's favorite crooners. With a background in singing and piano playing and encouragement from his family, Eric began performing Fred Astaire and Fats Waller tunes at a young age. High school and college included music revues and musical theatre and Comstock's repertoire grew. Intense dedication to songwriters like Lorenz Hart, Cole Porter, Comden and Green and Noel Coward developed his knowledge of great American songs.

Getting his chops performing in piano bars, cruise ships and small New York clubs over the years paid off, resulting in rave reviews for his productions of "Our Sinatra" and "Made for the Movies: A Hollywood Songbook" both of which had their premiere presentations at THE ALGONQUIN OAK ROOM (59 West 44th Street, NYC - 212-840-6800 - http://www.algonquinhotel.com/). Calling himself a "saloon singer," Comstock says, "If it's good enough for Sinatra and Bobby Short, I'll take it."
