D.C. Anderson in Three City December Tour

2002 Bistro Award winner, Singer/Songwriter D.C. Anderson, will be performing new songs (as well as a few from his Christmas CD ALL IS CALM ALL IS BRIGHT) with musical director Stephen Randoy and bassist Ritt Henn in New York City and New Hope and Philadelphia, PA in early December.

The dates at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788 - http://www.donttellmama.com/) are Thursday, Friday & Saturday, December 5th, 6th & 7th at 7:00 pm at with an additional 11:00 pm show on December 6th. There is a $15.00 cover plus a 2-drinks minimum.

His show then moves to THE CABARET at Odette's (South River Road, New Hope, PA - 215-862-3000 - http://www.odettes.com/), with the performance to take place on Sunday, December 8th at 7:30 pm. There is a $15.00 cover plus $8.00 food/drink minimum.

In Philadelphia, D.C. will perform at TAVERN ON CAMAC (243 South Camac Street, Philadelphia, PA - 215-545-0900) on Monday, December 9th at 7:30 pm. There is a $17.00 cover that includes one free drink.

Mr. Anderson made his Broadway debut in PHANTOM, and has performed regionally with the Steppenwolf Theater Company, Northlight Theater, Great Lakes Theater Festival, and the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis. He is currently touring the United States as Andre in Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA.

D.C. conceived and produced the first ever Broadway Cares Christmas CD - CABARET NOEL - a 2 CD/45 songs recording featuring 22 new or never before recorded songs by musical theater and cabaret songwriters Flaherty & Ahrens, Sondheim & Styne, Kander & Ebb, Polly Pen, Alan Chapman, Amanda McBroom, Ervin Drake, Jason Robert Brown and Kristine Zbornik, and many more as well as an additional 22 favorites - performed by Karen Akers, Tommy Tune, Amanda McBroom, Karen Ziemba, Andrea Marcovicci, Kristine Zbornik, Howard McGillin, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Leslie Uggams, Ervin Drake, Kander and Ebb, B.D. Wong, Jeff Harnar, Scott Ellis and Susan Stroman - and others - It is still available through the NYC BROADWAY CARES/EQUITY FIGHTS AIDS (http://www.bcefa.org/) office.

D.C. has also recorded several CDs, including THE BOX UNDER THE BED, BLUE SUMMER DAY, ALL IS CALM ALL IS BRIGHT and 2002s COLLECTED, all released on the LML Music (http://www.lmlmusic.com/) label. He is a frequent guest of the Mabel Mercer Foundation's Cabaret Convention at THE TOWN HALL (123 West 43rd Street, NYC - http://www.the-townhall-nyc.org/), as well as at DAVENPORT'S Piano Bar & Cabaret (1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830 - http://www.davenportspianobar.com/), and Los Angeles' THE GARDENIA (7066 Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood, CA - 323-467-7444) and THE CINEGRILL at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel (7000 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, CA - 323-466-7000) cabarets. D.C. will also be joining fellow LML Music recording artists to sign CDs at FOOTLIGHT RECORDS (113 East 12th Street, NYC - 212-533-1572) on Saturday, December 7th at 1:00 pm.
