John Flynn "Confessions of a Farm Boy" Moves to JOE'S PUB

One bona fide Broadway legend. One certified pop diva. And one resentful non-Equity chorus boy.

BREAKING NEWS: 7:30 SHOW SOLD OUT - SECOND SHOW ADDED FOR 9:30 pm - see details below

After three sold-out shows at UPSTAIRS AT ROSE'S TURN (55 Grove Street, NYC - 212-366-5438) and DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788 - http://www.donttellmama.com/) in June, John Flynn's new one-man show, "Dances With Pitchforks: Confessions of a Farm Boy" moves to JOE'S PUB (425 Lafayette Street, NYC - Tele-Charge: 212-239-6200 - Box Office: 212-539-8778 - http://www.joespub.com/) for one night only on Sunday, July 21st at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $12, plus a two-drink or $12 food minimum.

What happens when divas collide? The year was 1998. Starring in Paper Mill Playhouse's production of GYPSY were Broadway legend Betty Buckley, pop star Deborah Gibson, and John Flynn as non-Equity Farm Boy #5. And like any non-Equity Farm Boy #5 with too much free time on his hands, John shares tales of rehearsal antics with his friends on the internet via e-mail. Who knew these e-mails would make it around the world and make their way into the New York DAILY NEWS? Combining story and song, Mr. Flynn relates how this led him into much more trouble than he ever imagined.

A recent MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabaret Artists) Award nominee for Male Musical Comedy, John Flynn returns with an all-new show. His two previous one-man shows, "Wildly Inappropriate Songs" and "In Search of the Great American Cabaret," were both critical and popular successes.

Joining him once again as musical director is Steve Lavner, who also served as musical director for "Butch It Up 2: Don't Ask, Don't Tell." Serving as director is Jason O'Connell, a stand-up comedian who regularly performs at Carolines, Gotham, and other clubs across town.

LATE NEWS: 7:30 SHOW COMPLETELY SOLD OUT - Second show added for same night, Sunday, July 21st at 9:30 pm at JOE'S PUB (425 Lafayette Street, NYC - Tele-Charge: 212-239-6200 - Box Office: 212-539-8778 - http://www.joespub.com/)!
