CRISTINA FONTANELLI AT LE DOME IN SEPTEMBER

Soprano Cristina Fontanelli ill be performing at LE DOME at The Manor (111 Prospect Avenue, West Orange, NJ - 973-731-2360 - http://themanorrestaurant.com/) on Thursday, September 19th in her cabaret show "With a Song in My Heart." The Cabaret Soiree consists of a 4-course, 4-star dinner and show package, with dinner seatings at 6:00, 6:15, and 6:30 pm. Showtime is 9:00 pm. Cost for dinner and show is $69 plus tax & tip. Wait-list "show only" seats available at $35 per person.

Fontanelli is an accomplished artist who has traveled the world as a soprano soloist with the world renowned Mantovani Orchestra. The orchestra performed in major concert halls in Canada, Japan and Korea, with appearances in Italy, the Middle East and at the Cairo Opera House as an "Ambassador of Opera." Across the United States she has performed in the New York Grand Opera, the Treasure Coast Opera and the American National Opera. She has appeared with many respected musical celebrities such as Tony Bennett, Joel Grey, Pat Cooper and Metropolitan Opera luminaries Giuseppe Di Stefano, Ferruccio Tagliavini and Licia Albanese, among others.

Winner of an Italian-American Heritage Award by the St. Ann's Festival of Hoboken, Fontanelli's lovely voice can be heard singing Italian favorites in Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Korean and Yiddish. She was awarded "Woman of the Year" by the Ethnic Press Council of Toronto, Canada and has been a guest of the prestigious Robert Sherman show on New York's WQXR radio station. She can also be recognized from her performance on the "Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Telethon."

At the invitation of New York City's former mayor, Rudy Guliani, Fontanelli performed at Gracie Mansion. She also appeared at the White House as a part of former President Bill Clinton's holiday celebration and at many other political functions, including events honoring New York's former governor, Mario Cuomo, and New Jersey's former governor, Christie Todd Whitman.
