DAVID GURLAND RETURNS TO MAMA'S WITH "The Gurley Show"

David Gurland is back at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788 - http://www.donttellmama.com/) with his first show in over a year. Show dates are Tuesdays, April 9th & 23rd and Wednesday, May 1st, all shows at 9:00 pm.

The Gurley Show covers a broad range of pop/rock songs from big time artists to up and coming songwriters. Accented by his edgy humor and strong stage presence, the show spans from Robbie Williams to Shawn Colvin to Genesis, with many surprises along the way. Critics raved over the successful first run of the show early this year.

Musical direction is by Michael Holland. The show will feature MAC Award-winner Karen Mack on vocals, Ted Stafford on bass and vocals, and Jerry Smith on drums and vocals.

Gurland is a GLAMA nominee and the recipient of the coveted MAC/Hanson Award, as well as three BACK STAGE Bistro Awards. His debut, self-titled CD received critical acclaim.
