Rita Ellis Hammer Presents "The Romantic Side of Rita"

Rita Ellis Hammer will be performing at DANNY'S SKYLIGHT ROOM (342 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-265-8133 - http://www.dannysgrandseapalace.com/) on two Thursdays in February, on the 14th and 21st, both shows at 7:00 pm. Her show, entitled "The Romantic Side of Rita," is dedicated to St. Valentine and was conceived and musically directed by Paul Katz. There is a $10 cover charge and a $10 food/drink minimum. Credit cards are accepted.

Ms. Hammer, once a fixture on various radio and television variety shows, ended her hiatus from show business a few years back by performing at Hotel Delmonico, Don't Tell Mama, Eighty-Eight's and at Danny's in both her own show and part of Eric Meyer's "Critics Choice" series. She also appeared at the prestigious Mabel Mercer Cabaret Convention, and even aboard the U.S.S. Intrepid!

Rita Ellis Hammer will preview "The Romantic Side of Rita" at The National Arts Club (15 Gramercy Park South, NYC) for the Dutch Treat Luncheon of February 12th.

Ms. Hammer's CD, "You Ought to Be in Pictures," on Original Cast Records, is available at Tower Records and will be available at her shows at DANNY'S.
