Sam Harris & John Barrowman to Perform in Milwaukee


Will be part of Stackner Cabaret Series

Working with Stepping Out productions in Milwaukee, New York-based r/j productions brings a little bit of Broadway to Wisconsin this summer as both Sam Harris and John Barrowman perform as part of the Stackner Cabaret Series at STACKNER CABARET (108 East Wells Street, Milwaukee, WI - 414-224-1761 - http://www.milwaukeerep.com/). Mr. Harris performs on July 19th at 8:00 pm and on July 20th at 6:00 and 9:00 pm. Mr. Barrowman's performances are on August 2nd at 8:00 pm and August 3rd at 6:00 and 9:00 pm.

Currently on tour, Sam Harris may be best known for his $100,000.00 Grand Championship on "Star Search." Throughout the 80s and 90s, Sam recorded pop CD's before earning a Tony Nomination for his starring role on Broadway in Cy Coleman's "The Life." Sam has toured throughout the country in many theatrical roles, including that of "Joseph" in "Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat." He also continues to record CD's.

John Barrowman visits Milwaukee fresh from his glowing reviews as "Bobby" in "Company," part of the Kennedy Center's Salute to Sondheim. Television audiences best know John from his starring roles in two series: NBC's "Titans" and CBS's "Central Park West." An accomplished musical actor, John recently co-starred on Broadway opposite Carol Burnett in "Putting it Together" as well as starring in both the New York and London productions of "Sunset Blvd."

John's performances in his "home" state of Wisconsin will feature songs from his CD, "Reflections from Broadway."
