Presents Legend Keely Smith in "SWING, SWING, SWING!

will present the return of swing legend Keely Smith from May 2nd through
May 25th. "SWING, SWING, SWING!," her new show based on the CD from
Concord Records, will feature classics of the swing era such as "Jump,
Jive and Wail," "On The Sunny Side of the Street" and "Let the Good
Times Roll." She will be joined by a nine-piece big band with musical
direction by Dennis Michaels.
Keely Smith is one of
America's greatest living balladeers, the First Lady of Las Vegas
and an icon of the swing era. Famous for her irrepressible spirit
and a voice that melds pop and jazz, she sounds as sinuous and forthright
as when she and Louis Prima held court at the Sahara Hotel to celebrity-studded
audiences. Her classic recordings, including "I Wish You Love" (a
Grammy-nominated gold album with Nelson Riddle) and "Politely" with
the Billy May orchestra, have been featured in films such as "The
Deer Hunter," "Raging Bull," "Analyze This" and "Mad Dog & Glory."
Her film credits include the cult favorite "Thunder Road" with Robert
Mitchum. Keely's most recent CD from Concord Records is "Keely Sings
Sinatra." Recently, millions were introduced to her singing "Jump,
Jive and Wail" on national TV commercials for The Gap.
FEINSTEIN'S AT THE REGENCY
will play the following schedule: Tuesday through Saturday at 8:30
pm with late shows on Friday and Saturday at 11:00 pm. Ticket prices
and food & beverage minimums are as follows: Tuesday through Saturday
8:30 pm shows - $60 cover and $39.50 minimum; Friday and Saturday
11:00 pm late show - $60 cover and $25 minimum. Jackets are suggested,
but not required.
