Simply Lavine" Moves to DON'T TELL MAMA For Three Week Run

Audrey Lavine reprises her latest cabaret show, "Simply Lavine," at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788 - http://www.donttellmama.com/) ON Sundays, June 30th, July 7th and 14th, at 5:30 pm. She is accompanied by musical director Ross Patterson. This is Ms. Lavine's DON'T TELL MAMA debut.

The 2001 BACK STAGE Bistro Award Winner (Outstanding Vocalist) and 2001 MAC Award winner (Female Vocalist) displayed her range and versatility in recent shows celebrating Harold Arlen (to be recorded this summer,) and the award winning "Dancing." Audrey is a master at blending familiar and undiscovered treasures from the golden age of popular song with more contemporary tunes. Audiences of her shows know they can expect warmth, wit, something old, something new, something old that sounds like new ... and definitely something blue.

Fresh from a sold-out engagement at JUDY'S CHELSEA (169 Eighth Avenue, NYC - 212-929-5410 - http://www.judyschelsea.com/), "Simply Lavine" welcomes the changing seasons while exploring old favorites and new discoveries. It's not the same old Gershwin, Rodgers & Hart and Irving Berlin, but they will be there. And with Ross Patterson's masterful, lush arrangements, even fan favorites like "Let Yourself Go," "Round Midnight," and "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" have a new ring.
