Matt
Leahy's Critically Acclaimed Show Honors Lost Singers of Past
After
taking a break for two solo performances at Carnegie Hall with the
New York Gay Men's Chorus, MAC Award Nominee and CABARET HOTLINE Award
Winner Matt Leahy returns to the Cabaret stage this October. His acclaimed
show "Rules of the Road ... A Love Story," is making it's long awaited
return - this time to JUDY'S CHELSEA (169 Eighth Avenue, NYC - 212-929-5410
- http://www.judyschelsea.com/).
Shows will be presented Fridays, October 4th, 11th, 18th & 25th at
10:30 pm. Musical direction is by Bistro award winner Mark Hartman
with Steven Ray Watkins and also features Marco Brehm on bass. The
show is directed by Bistro and MAC award winner Lennie Watts.
Exploring the romance
between the lost singers of days past and the songs they love (and
that also kept them going), the show features the music of Frank Sinatra,
Frankie Laine, Johnny Ray and Dean Martin to name a few.
When it played at DON'T
TELL MAMA earlier this year, it was hailed with rave reviews.
