NATHAN MARTIN TO MAKE NEW YORK SOLO CABARET DEBUT

London
England's, NATHAN MARTIN, brings his one man show "Nathan Martin-So
Far" to DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788
- http://www.donttellmama.com/),
Friday, August 2nd and Tuesday, August 13th at 9:00 pm, following
it's success at London's JERMYN STREET THEATRE (16B Jermyn Street,
Piccadilly, London - 020 72872875). The show comprises an eclectic
mixture of songs from both sides of the Atlantic, with Nathan covering
everything from George Gershwin to Richard Stilgoe. There is a $12
cover, 2-drink minimum.
At 24, Nathan is one of
England's youngest singer-pianist, but he brings a wealth of experience
to his show. He most recently appeared in "Dorothy Fields Forever"
at the King's Head Theatre in London.
Mr. Martin has an impressive
list of credits to his name, having worked in the United Kingdom as
musical director for shows such as "Assassins," "High Spirits," "After
The Fair" and Helen Lederer's "One Night Stand." Nathan's cabaret
career has taken him all over the world and he has worked with many
American performers such as Kaye Ballard, Brent Barrett, Claiborne
Cary, Steven Brinberg, Georga Osborne, and Deborah Boily when they
appeared in London.
Nathan also serves as
musical director for several British performers, including Linzi Hateley,
Robert Meadmore, Liz Robertson and Lindsay Hamilton.
