Matt has toured the US with "A Chorus Line" and performed lead roles in such standards as "Oklahoma!," "The Wizard of Oz," and "On the Town," as well as lesser known shows such as "Elegies for Angels, Punks, and Raging Queens" and "Unidentified Human Remains and the True Nature of Love." His film appearances include "A Beautiful Mind," "Kate and Leopold," and "Man Conquers Space."

In "Lucky To Be Me," Matt uses an eclectic mix of musical comedy standards, as well as music from the contemporary popular repertoire, to tell the story of meeting, courting, and falling in love with his Australian partner, Peter. A journey spanning many months and four continents, the show reflects a modern search for love and fulfilment. A universal love story.
