Nancy McGraw Returns With Hit Show to Judy's Chelsea

Nancy McGraw returns to JUDY'S CHELSEA (169 Eighth Avenue, NYC - 212-929-5410 - http://www.judyschelsea.com/), for two shows only, on Sunday, September 22nd at 5:30 pm and Monday, September 23rd at 8:30 pm. When this show first ran at JUDY'S CHELSEA in June of this year, it played to sold-out houses, and received rave reviews. David Maiocco is the musical director with Sam McPherson on bass. The show is directed by Thommie Walsh. There is a $15 cover charge and $12 minimum.

Ms. McGraw will perform a collection of songs written by Maxwell Anderson, Harold Arlen, Kenny Ascher, Marshall Barer, Billy Barnes, Alan & Marilyn Bergman, Dory Caymmi, Cy Coleman, Noel Coward, Walter Donaldson, Dave Frishberg, Dean Fuller, Ira Gershwin, Gordon Jenkins, Gus Kahn, Jack Lawrence, Carolyn Leigh, Johnny Mandel, Johnny Mercer, Vic Mizzy, Cole Porter, Hugh Prestwood, Stephen Sondheim, Irving Taylor, Charles Trenet, Jimmy Webb, Kurt Weill, and Paul Williams.

A graduate of Northwestern University School of Music, Nancy appeared in the Tony Award winning Broadway musical "Nine," where she first met Thommie Walsh. She also appeared off-Broadway in "Godspell," "The Heebie Jeebies, A Musical Tribute to the Boswell Sisters" and "Forbidden Broadway." She also appeared at DANNY'S SKYLIGHT ROOM (342 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-265-8133 - http://www.dannysgrandseapalace.com/) in the highly-acclaimed revue "Hard Candy, The Songs of Carol Hall."

For many years Nancy and her husband Steve owned and operated Steve McGraw's Cabaret Theatre, presenting countless cabaret performances and revues. For ten years, she produced The Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights Aids Cabaret Series, receiving a MAC Board of Director's Award for that work.
