FEINSTEIN'S AT THE REGENCY presents "The First Family Of Cool" The Pizzarelli Family

The John Pizzarelli Trio Featuring Bucky Pizzarelli And Jessica Molaskey - May 28th Through June 22nd

FEINSTEIN'S at the Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue, NYC - 212-339-4095 - http://www.feinsteinsattheregency.com/) will present the return engagement of "The First Family of Cool" with jazz guitarist / vocalist John Pizzarelli and The John Pizzarelli Trio, featuring Bucky Pizzarelli and Jessica Molaskey. The Trio also features Ray Kennedy on piano and Martin Pizzarelli on bass. Performances run from May 28th through June 22nd.

The show will feature songs from their new recordings: John teams up with legendary jazz pianist George Shearing on his new CD from Telarc, "The Rare Delight of You." Jessica Molaskey's CD, "Pentimento," which puts a new twist on a collection of vintage popular songs from the 1920s and 1930s, is being released on PS Classics on June 4th. Mr. Pizzarelli and Ms. Molaskey, his wife, are also noted songwriters; this engagement will include the premiere of a new composition, "The Gangster Song."

John Pizzarelli has cultivated a winning career from singing classic standards and late-night ballads and by playing sublime and inventive guitar. He has been playing since the age of 6, following in the tradition of his father, guitar legend Bucky Pizzarelli. In 1999, the Trio was featured in the Steve Martin/Goldie Hawn comedy "The Out of Towners," performing "That Old Black Magic." A commercial for Foxwoods Casino has made Mr. Pizzarelli a recognizable face. The group tours throughout the United States, Europe and Japan performing classic pop, jazz and swing standards. Bucky Pizzarelli has enjoyed a career that spans the years from the Vaughn Monroe Orchestra to White House concerts with Benny Goodman and Frank Sinatra. Other career highlights include featured appearances at Carnegie Hall, the Boston Pops and the Town Hall.

FEINSTEIN'S AT THE REGENCY will play the following schedule: Tuesday through Saturday at 8:30 pm with late shows on Friday and Saturday at 11:00 pm. Ticket prices and food & beverage minimums are as follows: Tuesday through Saturday 8:30 pm shows - $60 cover and $39.50 minimum; Friday and Saturday 11:00 pm late show - $60 cover and $25 minimum.
