JULIE
REYBURN RETURNS TO JUDY'S WITH HER ACCLAIMED SHOW "BLACKBIRD"
After
a successful sold-out run in September, Julie Reyburn returns to JUDY'S
CHELSEA (169 Eighth Avenue, NYC - 212-929-5410 - http://www.judyschelsea.com/)
with her critically acclaimed new show, "Blackbird". With her is 2002
Bistro Winner Mark Janas, musical director, Ritt Henn on Bass, Suzanne
Abbott on Vocals, and Michael Barbieri as Technical Director. Shows
are on Tuesday, December 3rd, Fridays, December 13th & 20th and Saturday
December 21st, all shows at 8:30 pm. There is a $15 Cover, $12 food/drink
minimum.
With arrangements by Mark
Janas, the song list features selections from Paul Simon, Pete Townsend,
Irving Berlin, Adam Guettel to Burt Bacharach and Jay Hawkins.
Ms. Reyburn's recent projects
include: A part of the wonderful cast of "Mikey Writes It Æ Songs
of Michael Holland" at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC
- 212-757-0788 - http://www.donttellmama.com/)
which enjoyed a successful run both in September and November,; an
appearance at THE TOWN HALL (123 West 43rd Street, NYC - http://www.the-townhall-nyc.org/)
as part of the 13th Annual Mabel Mercer Cabaret Convention, and at
THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438
- http://www.theduplex.com/)
for The Storefront Theatre's production of FALSETTOS, where she played
the role of Trina. Julie was featured as part of the NEW MONDAYS Songwriter
evening, also at THE DUPLEX showcasing her original music, alongside
Julie Gold and Lina Koutrakos.
Ms. Reyburn will soon
be traveling to Chicago, where she will appear in the Second Annual
Mabel Mercer Chicago Cabaret Convention in February 2003.
