Michael Holland and Karen Mack Reprise the 80s in "Ice Gasholes"

MAC Award Winners Michael Holland and Karen Mack, the original "Gasholes" return to DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788 - http://www.donttellmama.com/) to conquer a whole new decade in "Ice Gasholes" on Saturdays at 7:30 pm, October 5th through November 30th. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

Holland & Mack's "Gashole: The Wit and Wisdom of the 70s" opened in October of 2001 and eight months of sold out crowds and many rave reviews later, the show moved into the archives so the duo could prepare for their next project. "Ice Gasholes." It is a show hurling us into the following decade, the 80s. The show is full of Holland & Mack's trademark antics: deranged medleys, soaring harmonies, comedic mayhem and a brand new signature cocktail to knock you off your feet (even if the 80s didn't.)

Michael Holland, a singer/songwriter/instrumentalist who was named Best Male Rock Artist of the Year in the 2001 MP3.com Blockbuster Music Awards, co-stars in the show and developed all the musical arrangements. Karen Mack is an established pop cabaret performer, recipient of three MAC Awards for vocal performance as well as songwriting, and released her debut CD "Take That" in April 2002. As a team, Karen and Michael were voted Best Vocal Duo of 2002 by the Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs and Best Musical Comedy Duo of 2001 by Cabaret Hotline Online. It is the synergy of the duo's theatrical abilities, pop sensibilities and cabaret experience that makes this show unique, entertaining and musical to the max!

The show is produced in association with Phil Geoffrey Bond and The Storefront (http://www.storefronttheatre.com).
