"TOVAH! STILL OUT OF HER MIND"
TOVAH FELDSHUH TO APPEAR IN LE DOME


Show to be performed on Thursday, February 28, 2002

Broadway star Tovah Feldshuh will appear in LE DOME at The Manor (111 Prospect Avenue, West Orange, NJ - 973-731-2360 - http://themanorrestaurant.com/) on Thursday, February 28th, for a one-night only performance of "Tovah: Still Out Of Her Mind." This acclaimed one-woman show won rave reviews when she performed it at the Algonquin Oak Room in Manhattan. You can see Ms. Feldshuh in person just two weeks after the February 14th release of her new feature film "Kissing Jessica Stein" produced by Fox Searchlight. The Cabaret Soiree consists of a 4-course, 4-star dinner and show package, with dinner seatings at 6:00, 6:15, and 6:30 pm. Showtime is 9:00 pm. Cost for dinner and show is $69 plus tax & tip. Wait-list "show only" seats available at $35 per person.

For her work on the New York stage, from "Yentl" to "Sarava!" to "Lend Me A Tenor," Tovah Feldshuh has won 3 Tony nominations for Best Actress, 3 Drama Desk Awards, 4 Outer Critics Circle Awards, The Obie, and the Theatre World Award. Last season, she starred off-Broadway as Tallulah Bankhead in a piece she wrote entitled "Tallulah Hallelujah!" which was chosen as one of the ten Best Plays of the Year by USA Today, and for which she received the Best Actress Award from the Connecticut Critics Circle. Among other roles, Ms. Feldshuh has portrayed: Sarah Bernhardt, Stella Adler, Sophie Tucker, Katharine Hepburn, three queens of Henry VIII, and nine Jews from birth to death in off-Broadway's "Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah."

For her television work, Ms. Feldshuh received the Emmy nomination for her electrifying performance as Helena, the Czech freedom fighter, in the NBC miniseries "Holocaust." She has starred opposite Tommy Lee Jones in "The Amazing Howard Hughes," James Woods in "Citizen Cohn" and Bill Cosby on "The Cosby Mysteries" and "The Cosby Show," among many others. She has a recurring role as Danielle Melnick on "Law and Order." Her films include: "A Walk on the Moon," the now playing "Happy Accidents," "Friends and Family," "3 Little Wolffs," and "Old Love," which was selected this year for the Venice Film Festival. She also appeared in "The Corruptor," "Nunzio," "Cheaper to Keep Her," "Daniel Brewster's Millions," "The Idolmaker," "The Blue Iguana," "A Day in October," and "Charlie Hoboken."

Tovah Feldshuh made her cabaret debut at the Algonquin Oak Room in her act, "Tovah: Crossovah! From Broadway to Cabaret," followed by 8 sold-out weeks off-Broadway of her one-woman show "Tovah: Out Of Her Mind!" She has toured the world with this show, playing such diverse places as Philadelphia's The Ritz Carlton to the Wentworth Ballroom in Sydney, Australia. In New York, she performed for Lyrics and Lyricists with Liza Minnelli, and in Washington, DC was Mistress of Ceremonies for the National Symphony at the Kennedy Center. The Boston Globe selected her as best Cabaret Artist of the year 2000.
