EILEEN
VALENTINO IN "NOW AND THEN!" AT DON'T TELL MAMA

Singer
Eileen Valentino, star of the original Francesca Blumenthal revue
"Life Is Not Like The Movies," makes her long-awaited return with
her new show "Now And Then!" (New York's first On-And-A-Half-Woman
Show" at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788
- http://www.donttellmama.com/),
Friday, December 27th at 6:30 pm and Saturday, December 28th at 7:30
pm. There will be a $15.00 music charge and a 2-drink minimum.
After being dubbed "The
Voice of the Future" by Curt Davis, former New York Post critic, she
disappeared, or more accurately, moved to the West Coast to raise
a daughter and turn her creative juices to writing. And for the last
dozen years that's exactly what she's been doing: letting other performers
sing her songs and performing that rare but highly anticipated show
for the Los Angeles cabaret scene.
After twelve years of
Pacific palm trees, Eileen is back in the Big Apple for a special
two-night visit. Many remember her MAC-nominated turn in Francesca
Blumenthal's hit revue, "Life Is Not Like The Movies," and her MAC-nominated
Song of the Year "My Mother Was A Singer," and her other beautifully
crafted shows at DON'T TELL MAMA or EIGHTY EIGHT'S, and many other
cabaret rooms in Manhattan. Ms. Valentino also received a Back Stage
Bistro Award as Outstanding Vocalist. As a published poet Ms. Valentino
penned "I've Got Something To Say About Love."
