VOCALIST DANE VANNATTER & QUARTET PERFORMS AT PEABODY ESSEX MUSEUM JAZZ SERIES ON FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 2002


Dane Vannatter returns to the PEABODY ESSEX MUSEUM (Salem's Historic District, Salem, MA - 978-745-3500 ext. 3011) with his Quartet on Friday, February 15th at 8:00 pm to celebrate Valentine's Day weekend with the jazz and pop standards of America's most gifted composers and lyricists.

Vannatter recently released his third CD, "Double Standards," a new collection of the swinging and the soulful, ranging from the standards of Rodgers & Hart, Hoagy Carmichael and Stephen Sondheim to classic rhythm & blues tunes.

Vannatter is recipient of the prestigious Bistro Award for Outstanding Achievement in Recording for his second CD "Flight." Dane Vannatter's CD's "Here's to Life," "Flight," and "Double Standards" are available online at http://www.danevannatter.com/ and at http://www.amazon.com/. Vannatter will be accompanied at this performance by Bill Duffy on piano, Dave Landoni on bass, George Farrell on drums and John Baboian on guitar.

Admission for this event is $16, or $13 for museum members. WBOQ (104.9 FM) sponsors this event.
