Captivated by musical theatre when he attended Julian Slade's Salad Days at the tender age of eight, Cameron Mackintosh began his producing career in 1969 with ANYTHING GOES, followed by THE CARD, GODSPELL, and several others before bursting onto Broadway with SIDE BY SIDE BY SONDHEIM in 1976. Successful London revivals of OLIVER!, MY FAIR LADY, and OKLAHOMA! soon followed.

In 1981, Sir Cameron teamed with Andrew Lloyd Webber and Trevor Nunn for the musical CATS, which became a worldwide phenomenon that exploded further with Boublil and Schonberg's LES MISÄRABLES and MISS SAIGON and Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. Other notable productions include SONG AND DANCE, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, BLONDEL, ABRACADABRA, a revised FOLLIES, FIVE GUYS NAMED MOE, a new OLIVER!, MARTIN GUERRE, THE FIX, JUST SO, PUTTING IT TOGETHER and THE WITCHES OF EASTWICK.

Sir Cameron Mackintosh has produced four of the longest-running musicals in history on Broadway and in the West End. In addition, he owns seven West End theatres. In 1995, his company received The Queen's award for Export Achievement, and he was knighted in the 1996 New Year's Honours for his services to British Theatre. Currently, Sir Cameron has productions all over the world of LES MISÄRABLES, CATS, MISS SAIGON, THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, THE WITCHES OF EASTWICK, MARTIN GUERRE, OLIVER!, MY FAIR LADY, and the current hit Broadway revival of OKLAHOMA!.

The York Theatre Company, under the artistic direction of James Morgan, is the only theatre company in New York and one of few theatres throughout the country dedicated to developing and fully producing new musicals and preserving neglected, notable shows from the past. For over three decades, the York's intimate, imaginative style of producing both new and neglected classic musicals has resulted in critical acclaim, multiple awards, and acclamation from artists and audiences alike. Founded by Janet Hayes Walker in 1969, the York has presented over 50 full-scale musical productions, including such classics as THE GOLDEN APPLE, THE GRASS HARP, ON THE 20TH CENTURY, A DOLL'S LIFE, LOST IN THE STARS, CARNIVAL, and MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG, and such premieres as THE SHOW GOES ON, EXACTLY LIKE YOU, TAKING A CHANCE ON LOVE, SUBURB, THE IT GIRL and the current RED HOT MAMA, starring Tony nominee Sharon McNight, playing at THE YORK THEATRE at Saint Peter's Church (619 Lexington Avenue, NYC, Entrance on 54th).
