CCP 2003 Gala Celebrates 100 Years of American Popular Song

On Saturday, September 27th, CCP (Chicago Cabaret Professionals - http://www.chicagocabaret.org/) will hold "Gala 2003" titled "We Could Go On Singing - A Musical Feast Celebrating 100 Years of American Popular Song" at MAXIM'S (24 East Goethe Street, Chicago, IL - Tickets: 312-409-3106). Cocktails at 6:00 pm, and showtime is 7:00 pm. Working on the show are Daryl Nitz (Artistic Director), Suzanne Petri and Todd Shuman (Producing Committee), Dave Gallagher (Publicity) and Tracy Adams (Silent Auction Coordinator). See the CCP website for more details. Tickets are $50.

The evening will begin at 6:00 pm with cocktails and then move at 7:00 pm to the Bagatelle Room for Act I (American Songs, 1954-2003) with musical director Lex McCauley and featuring Nan Mason, KT McCammond, Lucia Spina, Jennifer Chada, Jeanne Scherkenbach, Stephen Rader, Elizabeth Doyle, Matt Davis, Rob Lindley, Roberta Miles.

Then, at 8:15 pm, the show moves to the Dining Room for Act II (American Songs, 1903-1953), with Beckie Menzie, musical director, featuring Audrey Morris, Daryl Nitz, Suzanne Petri, Pamela Sue Fox, Anne Pringle, Tom Michael, Denise Tomasello, Joan Curto, Cory Jamison, Kari Howard and Sharon Carlson
