Gina Caruso at DC's Corcoran Gallery of Art HERE -

Gina McCormick Caruso, winner of the "Bistro Award" from Back Stage Magazine, will perform on Wednesday, March 12th at 7:00 pm at The Frances & Armand Hammer Auditorium at the CORCORAN GALLERY OF ART (500 17th Street, NW, Washington, DC - 202-639-1770 - http://www.corcoran.org/). Tickets are $20 - $15 for members.

In her show, Ms. Caruso recalls the gatherings in her Irish grandmother's parlourŠsongs, story telling, poetry recitation, fiddle playing, dancing and some fancy accompaniment on spoons and other household items. Gina, remembering the characters and music she witnessed, sings old and contemporary songs to bring to life the spirit, humor and nostalgia of these gatherings. Her show is alternately very funny and very touching and always entertaining. If you're Irish, come into the parlour with Gina, and, if not, come anyway for a great time.
