COLLEARY AT KELLY'S OF ALAMEDA
Following
her critically acclaimed engagement at New York's renowned THE DUPLEX
CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 1-212-255-5438 - http://www.theduplex.com/),
San Francisco jazz singer Mychelle Colleary returns to the Bay Area
for solo shows at KELLY'S OF ALAMEDA (1313 Park Street, Alameda, CA
- 510-769-1011) for two shows on Thursday, December 11th ay 8:30 and
11:00 pm. A 2003 MAC Award Nominee for Outstanding New York Female
Debut, Ms. Colleary will sing a selection of jazz standards accompanied
by KC Filson on piano and Gus Kambeitz on bass.
Ms. Colleary
then makes her return to THE PLUSH ROOM at the York Hotel (940 Sutter
Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-885-2800 - http://www.plushroom.com/)
on Sunday, December 14th at 7:00 pm as part of the annual SHANTI TeddyCare
Benefit. She will be joining a cast that includes Samantha Samuels,
Chris Dilley, Tim Hockenberry and Barry Lloyd. Ms. Colleary will perform
highlights from her most recent New York show "Enter The November
Nebula With Shirley Temple's Evil Twin." The cover charge is $15 and
a new teddy bear. All proceeds benefit the SHANTI organization (http://www.shanti.org/)
and all teddy bears donated will be given to the children of the San
Francisco General Hospital.
A California
native, Mychelle Colleary now spends much of the year in New York
City where she has delighted audiences and critics alike at top nightspots
Don't Tell Mama, Danny's Skylight Room and the Duplex Cabaret Theater.
Mychelle
