D'ARCY RETURNS TO DON'T TELL MAMA WITH "GYPSY IN MY SOUL"

After two sold-out shows in the Spring, D'Arcy Achziger will reprise her cabaret show, "Gypsy in My Soul," at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 1-212-757-0788 - http://www.donttellmama.com/) on Sunday afternoon, September 21st at 3:00 pm, on Monday night September 29th at 9:30 pm, and on Tuesday evening October 7th at 6:30 pm. The show is directed by Lina Koutrakos.

Accompanied by her musical director, Rick Jensen, D'Arcy illuminates stories of her travels with a range of songs, including the poignant "Happy Birthday Boy" by Rick Jensen, "Bar on the Piccolo Marina" by Noel Coward, and a parody of "I Cain't Say No" that was written especially for her by Karl Hampe in homage to her obsession with designer shoes.

D'Arcy Achziger grew up in the Pittsburgh suburbs, attended Carnegie Mellon, and did regional theater at McCarter in Princeton. Coming to New York, she exhibited a talent for selling women's fashions and acquiring a world-class shoe collection. When not traveling across the country and around the world for Renfrew, a designer and manufacturer of women's clothes, she lives in Manhattan.
