Debbie DeCoudreaux's show
"Have A Little Paris On Me," based on her debut CD, chronicles the
tale of an American girl who becomes the toast of Paris her true-life
story. A long-awaited vacation to Paris resulted in an audition at
the Folies-Bergere, where the owner of the Moulin Rouge spotted Debbie,
hired her on the spot and created their new spectacle Formidable around
her talents.
Debbie starred at the
Moulin Rouge for eight years; surpassing the Moulin Rouge careers
of both Mistinguett and fellow American Josephine Baker. Upon her
return to the US, Debbie was immediately cast as Raffaela in the Broadway
and London West End productions of "Grand Hotel," and later in the
role of Julie in Hal Prince's "Show Boat" on Broadway. Debbie's film
work includes the Robert Altman movies "Beyond Therapy" and "Aria."
