Life" at the legendary DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC

The early performances on Saturday, April 19th and Saturday, April

putting them in the mood for a fun evening of Big Apple entertainment,
Broadway style. Ms. Ellzey's musical director is the noted Broadway

With a voice as big as
the Lone Star state itself, this native Texan brings her warm humor
to a song and it caresses the ear like a fresh spring breeze. Sharon
knows her way around a sophisticated lyric and she has achieved acclaim
across the United States for her intuitive interpretations of soaring
melodies. Her repertoire is also as wide as her vocal range and audiences
will find themselves alternately laughing and deeply moved by songs
from composers as diverse as Amanda McBroom, Marilyn Bergman, Johnny
Mandel, Stephen Sondheim, Kander and Ebb and John Bucchino. For her
audiences in New York, Sharon has crafted a delightful and personal
entertainment that takes her audiences from the plains of Perryton,
Texas to the marquees of Times Square.
In addition to her performances
in a number of venues in Texas and the Southwest, Sharon has captured
the imagination of audiences in Washington, DC. She has dazzled listeners
with her singing at noted performing spaces like THE SPECTRUM, SOURCE
THEATRE and the LYCEUM. HORIZONS THEATRE featured her in the flashy
and delightful musical revue "Hot and Bothered." And she has garnered
theatre award nominations for her dramatic work in productions of
"Steel Magnolias," "Moon Over Buffalo" and "Jake's Women." Her first
one-woman show "I'm Still Here" was performed to sold-out houses.
