RANDALL
FRIZADO SINGS "SONGS I'LL NEVER SING BECAUSE I'M TOO FAT."

Actor, singer and comedian
Randall Frizado combines his stand-up act as seen at CAROLINE'S COMEDY
CLUB and his "big-voiced" baritone in "Songs I'll Never Sing Because
I'm Too Fat" to DANNY'S SKYLIGHT ROOM (342 West 46th Street, NYC -
1-212-265-8133 - http://www.dannysgrandseapalace.com/)
on Thursdays, June 5th & 12th at 9:15 pm. The hour-long cabaret will
feature songs by Maltby and Shire such as "If I Sing" (Closer Than
Ever), Jason Robert Brown's "She Cries" (Songs For a New World), and
William Finn's "I'd Rather be Sailing" (A New Brain), as well as rarely
heard gems by Cole Porter, Edward Kleban, and Andrew Lippa, among
others. Director is Phillip George, and musical director is Angelyn
Fullarton. There is a $6 Cover, $10 food/drink minimum.
"Songs I'll Never Sing
Because I'm Too Fat" presents a light-hearted look at the world of
the leading man, and the character actor who follows him. In this
poignant romp through situations foreign to all but the tallest, leanest,
and most square-jawed of Broadway's self-absorbed, Mr. Frizado's big,
velvet baritone proves that more is indeed more.
Mr. Frizado is a graduate
of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy where he was the winner
of the Florence Bowler Vocal Scholarship. Credits include national
tours of Barry Manilow's Copacabana, Bye-Bye Birdie, and Big River,
Off-Off Broadway in Irving Berlin's Face the Music (Hal Reisman),
regional performances of Crazy For You (Lank Hawkins); Once Upon A
Mattress (Prince Dauntless); Tomfoolery (Randy)(Shelly Award Nomination);
The 1940s Radio Hour (Neil Tilden); Little Shop of Horrors (Orin Scrivello);
Picasso at the Lapin Agile (Schmendiman), and stand-up comedy at Caroline's
Comedy Club, Gotham Comedy Club, and Stand-up New York.
