Tony Fusco Returns with "Makin' Whoopee"

After a sold out run in October, singer Tony Fusco will return to The Backroom at DILLON'S (245 West 54th Street, NYC - 212-307-9797) for two shows only, Friday, December 5th at 10:00 pm & Saturday, December 6th at 7:30 pm. Mr. Fusco will be accompanied by an all-star band, featuring Eddie Caccavale (drums), Jerry Vivino (sax), Joe Beck (guitar) & Bob Kaye (Friday) & Barry Levitt (Saturday) on piano. The show, which is a benefit for MAC, the Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs, is written & directed by Vicki Stuart. There is a $10 music charge and $10 food/drink minimum.

Mr. Fusco, who is also one of New Jersey's most prominent & successful Defense Attorneys, was introduced to the world of music by his father, a former hair stylist to Vaudevillians & Burlesque stars. In 1978, he became the owner of the legendary Jilly's, Sinatra's hangout, where he got to know a variety of entertainers, including "Old Blue Eyes," who was said to be a big fan of both Tony's singing & his mother's linguini marinara.

Mr. Fusco has performed to sold-out houses at the world-renowned Oak Room at the Algonquin Hotel, the John Harms Theatre, the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark.
