GENESIUS GUILD HOSTS PREMIERE OF UPSTAIRS @ RED

Following a sold-out preview in January, The Genesius Guild will be hosting a premiere party to celebrate the opening of their new cabaret room, UPSTAIRS @ RED (356 West 44th Street, NYC - tickets: 212-206-1515 http://www.smarttix.com/) on Monday, April 7th at 8:00. A number of cabaret artists   both established performers and hot newcomers - will be on hand to help celebrate the opening. Look for performances by featuring songs by musical talents such as Mike Shaeib, Brett Kristofferson and John Mercurio.

UPSTAIRS @ RED is the creation of David E. Leidholdt, Director of New Musicals Development at the Genesius Guild and will begin regularly scheduled programming on April 8th. Performances will range from showcases of new musical works, to one-person shows, to exceprts from longer works. Tickets will be $15 cover plus 2-drink minimum. Patrons can choose to have dinner at RED before the show and waive the 2-drink minimum.
