Stephen
Goldstein In One-Man Satiric Cabaret in Fort Lauderdale

Newspaper columnist and
television talk show host, Stephen L. Goldstein takes center stage,
"lilting" his original lyrics to piano music, like the best cabaret.
He will appear on stage at CINEMA PARADISO (503 SE 6th Street, Fort
Lauderdale, FL - 954-525-3456 x107) on August 15th & 16th at 8:00
pm. He's been dubbed a mix of Mark Russell, Tom Lehrer, Rex Harrison,
and Noel Coward - a fresh, debunking voice that shreds The Establishment
and reveals America's warts.
In 15 "Satiric Serenades,"
Goldstein "takes no hostages" - hewing the high-and-mighty, goring
the greedy, and vexing the vain: "Where Are You, J. Edgar Hoover,
When We Need You?"; "I Don't Want To Have A Clone"; "I'm Not A Laboratory
Rat"; "The Bigot's Ballad"; "Bushwhacking America"; "Thank You, Monica
Lewinsky"; "I Once Bought Some Shares of Enron"; "America The ?";
"Blind Judges"; "Damn Afghanistan"; "Lament of the Moslem Bachelor";
"Face-lift Lady, Botox Gal"; "Best Enemies"; "Different Diets"; "Screw
You."
Editorial columnist for
the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, Goldstein has hosted television talk
shows in South Florida for almost 12 years. Currently, his "We The
People," a half-hour public affairs program, airs daily on Comcast
Cable.
Goldstein will be touring
"Screw You" and Other Satiric Serenades nationwide. His new CD, "Screw
You" & Other Satiric Serenades, Pillories J. Edgar Hoover, Monica
Lewinsky, George W. Bush, Enron, The Supreme Court - and Everything
That's Screwed Up In America
